We recover and rebuild dining chairs, carvers, bench seating, occasional chairs and full lounge suites. Every piece is stripped to the frame, joints checked and reglued, springs retied or replaced, then new webbing and new Dunlop HR35 foam before a single staple of fabric goes on. Fabric is chosen from real samples you can handle rather than a screen. Frame work carries our thirty year guarantee. Between Dylan, his dad and our machinist there is close to a hundred years of the trade behind the bench.

With the country's largest shopping centre sitting on the edge of the suburb, somebody always asks the obvious question first. Why not just buy new? The honest answer is that a recover costs about what replacing the piece with the same quality would, and the frame already in your dining room is usually better than the frame inside the floor stock. Kiln dried hardwood, mortice and tenon joints, chairs that have taken forty years of Sunday lunches without developing a wobble. That part you keep. The webbing, the foam and the cover are the new bits, and those are the parts that were always going to wear out.

Yes. We collect and deliver right across Malvern East 3145, from the Burke Road and Wattletree Road end through Central Park and Hedgeley Dene, down Waverley Road and out to the Chadstone and Darling station side of the suburb. We can, but we usually advise against it. New foam and a fresh cover on two chairs will sit higher and read brighter than the four beside them, and that mismatch is what people notice at the table. Doing the whole set together lets us cut from one fabric roll, use the same foam and set the same seat height. If budget means staging the work, tell us and we will set aside enough of the same fabric so the rest can be done later and still match.
