From a sagging sofa to a treasured antique, we bring the skill and patience that mass production can't replicate. Every piece leaves our Eltham workshop built to last.
After
What we do
Whether your sofa is sinking, a dining chair is past its best, or you're after something entirely bespoke, we have the skills, the materials and the decades of experience to deliver it properly.
Sagging cushions, broken webbing, worn foam, we restore the comfort and structure your furniture was built with, using quality materials that last.
New fabric, new life. We help you choose from a curated range of premium Australian and imported fabrics and transform your piece completely.
Period furniture deserves period techniques. Authentic horsehair, traditional stitching, hand-finishing, we honour the original craftsman's intent.
Custom bed heads, ottomans, window seats and more. All made to your exact brief in our Eltham workshop, no flat-pack, no compromise.
Restaurant booths, hotel seating, club chairs, banquet seating. We work with Melbourne hospitality businesses on projects large and small.
We partner with interior designers and architects across Melbourne. Trade accounts available with priority turnaround and material sourcing support.

Recent work
See how we reworked a fifteen-year-old, quality Australian-made bed so a larger mattress would fit, the footboard reshaped to match the bed head, so it looks like it left the factory that way.
Why choose us
Our workshop brings together a master restorer and French polisher of 50 years, a machinist of 30 years, and 22 years of hands-on upholstery, around a century of combined craft on every piece. Experience you can see and feel.
We use authentic horsehair, deep stitching and time-proven methods rather than cheap foam substitutes. Furniture we restore lasts decades, not years.
Everything is made and restored right here in our workshop. No outsourcing, no third parties, every stitch is ours, and we stand by it.
We're fully insured, and we stand behind our work, including a 30-year guarantee on our hardwood frames. If anything's ever not right through our workmanship, we put it right.
We train the next generation of upholsterers in traditional methods, because great furniture deserves great care, now and into the future.
