We price the room, not the chair, because there are almost always a few different seat types in one venue and they do not all need the same work. Drop in seat pads are the cheap end. Fixed banquettes and anything with a shaped or buttoned back sit at the other. What moves the number is how much rebuilding sits under the cover and how many metres of commercial grade material the room takes. Send photos of each seat type and we will quote it properly, in writing, at no cost.
No. We stage it in sections so part of the room stays open and trading, and where a venue would rather we were out of the way entirely we work before or after service. Drop in seat pads can often be swapped over same or next day with a bit of notice. Larger banquette runs are scheduled across visits. Material lead time is the real constraint, so we confirm the schedule once the fabric or vinyl is locked in.
Yes. Loose chairs and seat pads come back to the Eltham North workshop and go back in when they are done. Fixed seating is worked on site. If you are close and it is a load one person can manage, we usually just do the run ourselves and it does not appear on the invoice. Anything larger or further out we put on a carrier and that is quoted with the job rather than added afterwards.
