More commercial seating
We build and recover every kind of commercial seating across Melbourne.
Good to know
Heavy-duty commercial vinyl is the toughest and wipes clean; commercial fabrics suit lounge and quieter areas. We match the material to how hard the seating gets used.
Yes, we work around your trading, take sections at a time or work overnight, so the venue keeps running.
Yes, we recover batches of stools with fresh foam and hard-wearing covers, matched across the venue.
Yes, genuine fire-grade foam and commercial materials, meeting whatever compliance your venue requires.
All of Melbourne, from our Eltham workshop.
It is priced by the run and by the seat type, and pub work has its own variables. Bar stools take a beating around the footrest and the front edge, booth ends wear where people slide across, and there is often water damage in the bases that only shows once the cover is off. We quote in writing after seeing photos, with labour and materials separated, and if we find something during the strip that changes the figure we call you before we carry on. Quoting costs nothing.
Yes, that is the normal way we run it. The room gets done in sections so you keep trading, and we come in before or after service when that works better for the venue. Stools can be cycled through in batches so you are never short of seats. As with everything, the start date is set by material lead time, so the sooner the vinyl or fabric is confirmed the sooner we begin.
Yes. Bar stools, loose seat pads and removable squabs come back to the Eltham North workshop and are returned finished. Fixed booths and banquettes are done on site. Local runs with a load one person can manage we usually just do and do not charge for. Anything bigger goes on a carrier, quoted with the job.
Recent work
Part of the venue was being fitted out new, and nothing off the shelf suited the space, so we made the banquette seating to measure. Their fit-out lead chose an Austex embossed vinyl and we top stitched it all the way round, which is what stops a long run of vinyl reading flat.
A run of bar stools and drop in seats refreshed, plus several broken banquette seats repaired rather than replaced. The sort of job that keeps a bar looking cared for without a fit-out budget behind it.
